Dr. Sean Price

Originally hailing from Texas, Dr. Price was born in Austin in 1970.  As the son of an Air Force Pilot, Dr. Price lived all over Texas, Arkansas, and Panama before finally landing in Fort Walton Beach in 1985.  Dr. Price attended Fort Walton Beach High School and graduated amid the top of his class in 1988.    He then earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of West Florida in 1993.

Dr. Price has lived the pain and suffering of his patients.  At the age of 18 he began to experience occasional minor low back pain.  Over the next few years the pain began to get more frequent and more intense to the point that he began to be sidelined from the sports and martial arts training that he so enjoyed.  Dr. Price did as many patients do- he thought the pain would just go away.  Then it happened....the dreaded day when his back "went out" while simply bending over to play with the dog.     The pain was sharp and excruciating and did not go away for over 8 months.  Dr. Price finally made the hard decision to have low back surgery.

As they say, "Our greatest challenge can be our greatest opportunity"

Dr. Price was determined to never have back surgery again, so he began to study and research and this started his path into natural healthcare.  Dr. Price's first step was to become a Licensed Massage Therapist.  He graduated from Massage Therapy School and became licensed in 1998.  As a practicing massage therapist Dr. Price continued his studies of the human body and discovered the healing power of the Chiropractic Adjustment and Neuro-Metabolic Therapy.

Dr. Price began Chiropractic School at Life University just outside of Atlanta GA and finished his schooling in Houston Texas where he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Chiropractic College in December of 2003.

Immediately after graduating, Dr. Price moved his family to Louisville, KY to train in one of the largest chiropractic clinics in the United States.  Dr. Price then brought this valuable experience in patient care back home to the Fort Walton Beach area and opened Gulf Coast Chiropractic and Wellness in October of 2004.

In 2010 Dr. Price called on his experience as a Massage therapist and added The Massage Junkie Massage therapy program to his practice.....renaming the entire practice as "ChiroSpa."

If there is one thing that Dr. Price is certain of, it is that every patient presents a unique opportunity and a unique health challenge.   While performing over 20,000 patient visits, he has realized that one size treatment does not fit all.  In his never ending quest to be able to serve the most patients, Dr. Price has continued to advance his training and add the newest technologies to his practice.  Not only does Dr. Price offer Chiropractic Treatments but also state of the art Customized Nutritional Testing, Functional Medicine Lab Analysis, Neurologically base Brain Therapy, Neuro-Feedback Therapy,  Cold Laser Therapy, Non Surgical Spinal Decompression, High Tech Rehab, and Massage Therapy.  It is the goal of Dr. Price and his staff to take a wholistic approach to healthcare and meet the individual patient needs as opposed to trying to have all patients fit into a one size fits all care plan.

Dr. Price uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Price is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.

As an active member in the community, Dr. Price resides in Fort Walton Beach and spends his free time with his incredible wife, Kelly and his 4 wonderful children:  Zoe, Phoenix, Lorelei, and Bastion.
